  • what is the purpose of the polyester in the Cocolegend® mattress?

    The polyester in the Cocolegend® mattress complies with fire safety standards without the need for chemical treatments. It is also used in the filling of the cover, making it easy to care for: the cover is machine washable at 30°C (maximum 500 rpm).

  • Do you offer a 60x120 cot bed with removable bars?

    No, at Kadolis, the adjustable cot bed that allows you to remove the bars is only available in 70x140cm.

  • What is the difference between the two Kadolis pillow protectors?

    There are two types of pillow protector: one is waterproof, made from polyurethane and certified OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100. The other is made from GOTS-certified organic cotton flannel, with no added chemical substances, which is more respectful of health and the environment. It is not, however, waterproof.

  • What makes a Kadolis cot different from a conventional nursery or furniture cot?

    This depends on the size of the mattress: the 60x120 cm format is generally suitable for up to 3 years, while the 70x140 cm can be used up to around 6 years.

  • What are the differences between Yukari and Yukari Douceur dans les draps?

    Both collections, Yukari and Yukari Douceur, are made from organic cotton. The difference lies in the weave: 57 threads/cm² for Yukari and 120 threads/cm² for Yukari Douceur, making the latter even softer and more upmarket, which also explains the price difference.

  • Are Kadolis children's pillows machine washable?

    The pillow does not need to be washed before first use. For everyday care, only the cover is machine washable at 40°C. If necessary, or if there are serious stains, the whole pillow can be washed occasionally at 30°C. More information on our care guide page.

  • What's the difference between a 4-season duvet and a Kadolis light duvet?

    The 4-season duvet (300 g/m²) is warmer and suitable for all seasons, while the light duvet (100 g/m²) is suitable for mid-season or temperate climates.

  • What type of fastening is used for Kadolis duvet covers?

  • How long can you keep a mattress in its box?

    A rolled mattress should be unrolled immediately on receipt. A non-rolled mattress (such as Cocolegend®) has no strict limit: it must be stored away from moisture and excessive heat.

  • What is the purpose of the Kadolis 70x140 convertible bed?

    The Kadolis 70x140 cm evolving bed can be used from birth to around 6 years of age, avoiding the need to buy several successive beds.

    The supplier could no longer guarantee the quality of the hemp fibre, so Kadolis reverted to a hemp-free version with a filling of HOLLOFIL® ECO siliconised hollow polyester fibre from DACRON®.

  • Which is the most comfortable mattress at Kadolis?

    The Chanvrenatura mattress (or Chanvrevario for adults) is considered the most comfortable: it combines latex, coconut fibre and hemp for optimum comfort.

  • Are Kadolis mattress covers chemically treated?

    No, Kadolis mattress covers have no added chemical treatments (anti-dust mite, anti-bacterial, GreenFirst, etc.). They are certified OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100.

  • Do you have any advice on choosing a pillow?

    Between the ages of 2 and 5, we recommend a 35x45 cm pillow, perfectly adapted to the child's morphology and offering good support without raising the head.
    from the age of 5, a 40x60 cm pillow is recommended to support growth and provide optimum support.
    For teenagers and adults, a 50x70 cm or 60x60 cm pillow is preferable, depending on your sleeping habits and sleeping position.

  • Can a travel mattress be used on a daily basis?

    Only Aloe R and Cocolegend® covers can be machine washed (30° maximum, 500 rpm, air dry).

  • What is the difference between the Aloe R and Aloe R New mattresses?

    The Aloe R children's mattress is made from polyurethane foam. The Aloe R New children's mattress is the improved version. It combines polyurethane foam and a thin layer of latex, with two sleeping surfaces: firmer for under 5s, softer for over 5s.

  • Are your 4-season duvets made up of 2 duvets: 1 light and one warmer?

    The 4 seasons duvet is not made up of two duvets to be assembled. It's a single duvet, designed to offer optimum comfort all year round, with a weight adapted for a bedroom temperature of between 16°C and 19°C.

  • What weight can Kadolis mattresses support?

    The weight capacity depends on the size and type of mattress: each model is adapted to the morphology of the child or adult for whom it is intended.

  • How can I tell which side of a Cocolegend® children's mattress is firm and which is semi-firm?

    A label on the cover specifies the sleeping surface. 3-8 years for the semi-firm side, 8+ years for the firm side.

  • Can I find a 100% natural mattress or cover at Kadolis?

    Kadolis favours transparency: the manufacture of a 100% natural mattress is complex because of European standards (fire protection, safety...). Kadolis favours natural and certified materials. However, some accessories may contain polyester.

    Yes, all mattresses are protected either by a plastic bag (Aloe R) or a kraft bag (CocoLegend®, ChanvreNatura) inside the box.

  • What thickness of mattress should I choose for a cabin bed or bunk bed?

    For safety reasons, a 12 cm thick mattress is preferable. For a classic bed, a 17 cm mattress is more comfortable.

  • What is the difference between a 12 cm thick mattress and a 17 cm thick mattress?

    The 12 cm mattress is recommended for bunk beds, trundle beds, cabin beds or drawer beds, as it does not exceed a certain height, guaranteeing the child's safety with the barriers already included. The 17 cm mattress, on the other hand, is considered the standard size for classic children's beds, with or without a bed frame, and offers superior comfort for prolonged use.
