FAQ - Mattress and Cover
Mattress and Cover
-
The polyester in the Cocolegend® mattress complies with fire safety standards without the need for chemical treatments. It is also used in the filling of the cover, making it easy to care for: the cover is machine washable at 30°C (maximum 500 rpm).
-
This depends on the size of the mattress: the 60x120 cm format is generally suitable for up to 3 years, while the 70x140 cm can be used up to around 6 years.
-
A rolled mattress should be unrolled immediately on receipt. A non-rolled mattress (such as Cocolegend®) has no strict limit: it must be stored away from moisture and excessive heat.
-
The Cocolegend® children's mattress can support a weight of up to 80 kg for everyday use.
-
No, the Aloe R baby mattress does not contain latex. It is made from polyurethane foam.
-
The Chanvrenatura mattress (or Chanvrevario for adults) is considered the most comfortable: it combines latex, coconut fibre and hemp for optimum comfort.
-
No, Kadolis mattress covers have no added chemical treatments (anti-dust mite, anti-bacterial, GreenFirst, etc.). They are certified OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100.
-
Kadolis travel mattresses are not recommended for everyday use; prefer a classic non-folding mattress for regular sleep.
-
Only Aloe R and Cocolegend® covers can be machine washed (30° maximum, 500 rpm, air dry).
-
The Aloe R children's mattress is made from polyurethane foam. The Aloe R New children's mattress is the improved version. It combines polyurethane foam and a thin layer of latex, with two sleeping surfaces: firmer for under 5s, softer for over 5s.
-
The weight capacity depends on the size and type of mattress: each model is adapted to the morphology of the child or adult for whom it is intended.
-
A label on the cover specifies the sleeping surface. 3-8 years for the semi-firm side, 8+ years for the firm side.
-
Kadolis favours transparency: the manufacture of a 100% natural mattress is complex because of European standards (fire protection, safety...). Kadolis favours natural and certified materials. However, some accessories may contain polyester.
-
For over 15 years, our Cocolatex® baby mattress has accompanied the dreams of more than 100,000 newborns! Now, building on its reputation, it has a new identity. The essence of the mattress remains unchanged, only its name has changed to better embody its legendary status!
-
The CocoLegend® mattress has an even softer ticking and a higher proportion of recycled polyester. However, its core remains identical to that of the Cocolatex®, made from coconut fibres and natural latex.
-
The core of the mattress is made from 100% natural materials, with no glue or chemical treatments added. The cover is made from recycled polyester.

For safety reasons, a 12 cm thick mattress is preferable. For a classic bed, a 17 cm mattress is more comfortable.
-
The 12 cm mattress is recommended for bunk beds, trundle beds, cabin beds or drawer beds, as it does not exceed a certain height, guaranteeing the child's safety with the barriers already included. The 17 cm mattress, on the other hand, is considered the standard size for classic children's beds, with or without a bed frame, and offers superior comfort for prolonged use.
