The COCOLEGEND® baby mattress, a breathable mattress made from natural fibres

Give your newborn a baby mattress with a natural heart for a healthier night's sleep. The COCOLATEX® baby mattress is made up of a layer of coconut fibre that provides perfect support for your child's body, and a layer of natural latex for a soft, ultra-comfortable sleep. The natural latex used is around 97% pure. This crib mattress is the ideal compromise between flexibility and support for baby.

Thanks to its natural breathable fibres, the COCOLEGEND® baby mattress regulates baby's temperature perfectly, preventing the excessive sweating so common in children, which is often the cause of many night-time awakenings. The sleeping surface is on the latex side for greater comfort. The density of our COCOLEGEND® mattress is equivalent to a foam mattress with a density of 28kg/m2.

Sizes adapted to cots (60x120cm, 60x140cm or 70x140cm)

The two most common sizes for baby cots are 60x120 cm and 70x140 cm. They are available to meet the needs and preferences of parents and the changing needs of children.

• 60x120 cm: This is often considered the standard size for cots. It is ideal for smaller bedrooms or for parents with limited space. This bed is generally used from birth and can be used until the child is around 2-3 years old, or even a little older depending on the child's growth.
• 70x140 cm: This size of cot is slightly larger, offering more space for the baby. This size is more durable over time, as it can accompany the child for a longer period. It can be used from birth and can often be transformed into a junior bed thanks to removable barriers, extending its use until the child is older (4-5 years or even more).

The choice between these two sizes often depends on the size of the room, the parents' preferences in terms of design and functionality, and how long the cot is expected to be used.

However, the quality of the mattress remains the same for all sizes.

Coconut fibre provides excellent air circulation and moisture evacuation, limiting the proliferation of bacteria and dust mites.

A removable mattress for perfect hygiene

This mattress with a natural heart for baby is covered with a TENCEL™ Lyocell and polyester cover for soft comfort. TENCEL™ Lyocell is a natural material made from wood pulp. It has a naturally air-conditioning action allowing you to sleep at the right temperature at all times.

Recycled polyester is used to meet the non-flammability standard, avoiding the use of chemical additives. It also makes this mattress 100% vegan.

Even though our COCOLEGEND® mattress has a removable cover, don't forget to protect it with a breathable undersheet and a fitted baby sheet.

Reassuring certifications and standards for a mattress without added chemical treatments

The NF EN 16890 standard, issued in April 2021, concerns baby mattresses and aims to guarantee safety and quality criteria for baby mattresses, among other things. We'll explain this standard in a few key points:

• Purpose of the standard: NF EN 16890 establishes safety, performance and composition requirements for mattresses intended for babies and young children, ensuring their compliance with European safety standards.
• Safety criteria: this standard specifies strict criteria concerning firmness, risk of entrapment or suffocation, durability of materials, resistance to deformation, durability of the mattress, and safety.resistance to deformation, flammability and other aspects relating to the safety of the baby mattress.
• Control of harmful substances: The standard also includes regulations on the presence of harmful substances such as heavy metals, flame retardant treatments, etc., to ensure that the mattress does not present a health risk for the child.

What's more, the Cocolegend baby mattress is fully OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified. OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification means that the product has been tested and certified to meet certain safety and quality standards. This includes checking for the presence of harmful substances such as pesticides, heavy metals, allergenic dyes, regulated chemicals and other hazardous substances according to standard 100 for example, which is one of the most common certifications under OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification also guarantees that the product complies with ecological criteria, in particular by limiting the use of certain chemical substances that are harmful to the environment.

Precautions for use : To guarantee optimum comfort and a longer life for your mattress, we recommend that you do not roll or fold it so that the coconut fibre retains all its qualities.

Our delivery times are indicated on each product page and may vary depending on the item. We do not offer partial deliveries.
Deliveries are made directly to your mailbox (no delivery to your floor or via elevator) and take place during the day.

However, we offer a paid delivery option to your apartment, which includes packaging removal and a two-hour delivery window.

However, custom-made products cannot be returned or exchanged.


Returns of products in their original packaging and with labels are free within 30 days.
