The Aloe R adult mattress is made with a layer of latex on the surface to enhance comfort. The advantage of latex is that it's a soft, elastic material that's very comfortable. It distributes body weight evenly, providing customized support. It follows the body's natural curves, reducing pressure points and offering superior comfort.

The thickness of the foam provides essential support for your mattress. The density of the foam in our Aloe R mattress is 25 kg/m³. This density is an important factor to ensure adequate support and comfort for your back while you sleep. A density of 25 kg/m³ for an adult mattress offers an excellent balance between firmness and comfort to properly support your back and hips. This may help prevent posture problems and promote proper muscle and bone rest. In summary, a density of 25 kg/m³ can be suitable for an adult mattress, but be sure to also consider other important aspects like safety (standards and certifications) and specific recommendations to ensure a safe and comfortable sleeping environment.

An eco-conscious composition

Our Aloé R adult mattress bears its name for "Recycled", among other things: all the polyester fibers originally used in the mattress have been replaced by recycled polyester fibers, because make no mistake, recycled polyester offers several advantages over virgin (or non-recycled) polyester:

• Reduced waste and pollution: By using recycled polyester, Kadolis reduces the amount of plastic waste in the environment (reusing existing materials instead of producing new raw materials)

• Conservation of resources: Recycling polyester uses fewer natural resources (such as crude oil), since recycled polyester is made from PET plastic bottles, textile waste or other existing sources of polyester.

• Smaller carbon footprint: The production of recycled polyester generally requires less energy than the production of new polyester. As a result, it helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate the impact of climate change.

• Promotion of a circular economy: The use of recycled polyester promotes the concept of a circular economy by encouraging the reuse of materials, thereby extending their lifespan and reducing the need to produce new materials.

• Naturally flame-retardant: The big advantage of polyester, and why we chose it, is that it has naturally flame-retardant characteristics, so we don't need to add chemical treatment.

What's more, this foam-core mattress for adults is covered with a TENCEL™ Lyocell and polyester blend for plush comfort. TENCEL™ Lyocell is a natural material made from wood pulp. It naturally helps regulate temperature, allowing you to sleep comfortably all night long. Finally, the Aloe Vera coating (from a popular plant widely known for its medicinal and cosmetic properties) on the cover ensures the mattress is exceptionally soft and irresistibly smooth to the touch.

Reassuring certifications and standards for a chemical-free mattress

The Aloé R adult mattress is fully OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified. OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification means that the product has been tested and certified to meet certain safety and quality standards. This includes checking for the presence of harmful substances such as pesticides, heavy metals, allergenic dyes, regulated chemicals and other hazardous substances according to Standard 100, for example, which is one of the most common certifications under OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100.OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification also guarantees that the product complies with ecological criteria, including limiting the use of certain environmentally harmful chemicals.

A fully removable mattress – ultra practical! The fact that our Aloe R adult mattress comes with a completely removable cover offers many advantages, especially for parents!

• Ease of cleaning: A removable mattress cover makes it easy to remove and wash in the event of accidents, perspiration or any other incident. This makes it easier to keep the mattress clean and hygienic. The cover is simply machine-washed at 30 degrees maximum, with a spin speed of 500 rpm. However, we don't recommend tumble-drying the cover at all, but rather letting it air-dry.

• Durability and longevity: Removing the cover prolongs the life of the mattress. By washing the cover regularly, you can prevent the build-up of dirt, dust mites and bacteria that could otherwise impair the quality of the mattress.

However, the mattress cover does not prevent you from protecting your mattress with a waterproof mattress protector and a fitted sheet suitable for mattresses in sizes 140x190cm, 140x200cm, 160x200cm, or 180x200cm. Good to know: the Aloé R adult mattress is delivered vacuum-rolled, so be sure to unpack it upon receipt and wait 4 to 6 hours before using it.
